this engine is reconditioned and carries a £1000.00 surcharge.

POWER-PLUS 1860 Stage II

(Part numbers 1138-916, 1139-916, 1140-916, 1141-916)

All Ivor Searle engines are remanufactured to meet or exceed Federation of Engine Remanufacturers and British Standard BS.A.U.257 Codes of Practice. The POWER-PLUS 1860 stage II has these additional features:-

Reprofiled fast road camshaft.

New duplex timing chain.

New adjustable Vernier timing gear.

New clutch kit.

New inlet and exhaust valves.

New spark plugs.

Reconditioned flywheel fitted with new ring gear.

Cylinder head ported and polished to stage II specification and valves modified.

Electronic balancing of crankshaft, flywheel and clutch assembly.

Con rods “end to end” balanced.

Pistons balanced.

All engines are hot run under their own power, oil pressure and compressions are checked and the cooling system pressure is tested prior to the cylinder head re-torque and tappets being reset.

Every engine is then painted, sealed in polythene and bolted into a steel frame for shipping.
